Meet the PractitionersStephanie Simmons, L.Ac Stephanie has been practicing acupuncture for 10 years and is proud to have been a part of The Healing Tree since it opened its doors to the residents of Del Ray in 2002. She has a Masters of Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Tai Sophia) in Columbia, MD. She is certified by the World Health Organization Center for Acupuncture in Shanghai, China, and has trained for 9 years with Richard Tan learning and refining his Balance Method. Stephanie's treatment specialties include women's health, especially fertility and working with women who are undergoing ART, as well as people with allergy and sinus problems and pain management. She is a volunteer with Acupuncturists Without Borders and has completed their disaster relief training.
