Diane C. Troup, CMT

Diane started her holistic career as a Massage Therapist in 1989, graduating from the Portland School of Massage Therapy in Portland, Maine. Her studies and specialties include Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish, Deep Relaxation, Prenatal, Infant Massage and Aromatherapy. She works with clients looking to de-stress, keep up with their wellness and/or to work out specific soft tissue pain and discomfort.

Orthopedic Massage is the use of specialized knowledge, skills and abilities to determine the most effective treatment for soft tissue injury and pain using a variety of massage techniques (trigger point therapy, deep friction, myofascial approaches, muscle energy techniques, etc.) It includes assessment of the injury/pain, choosing the appropriate treatment, adaptability of the treatment and understanding of the rehabilitation protocol.
