Meet the Practitioners

Carol Whitmire, L.Ac, PT

Carol has a western medical background in Physical Therapy. Interested in pursuing Acupuncture as a profession, she completed a masters' degree at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia MD in 2003. Nationally certified with NCCAOM, Carol has completed courses in Chinese herbal medicine, the Dr. Tan method, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Zero Balancing and Lymphatic Drainage.

Carol treats a variety of ailments including pain, injury, allergies and general health issues pertaining to both men and women.

Carol practices with the philosophy that we all can examine our motivation and evolve toward our greatest potential. She is most inspired by the work of Lonny Jarrett, L.Ac.
